Park service award goes to Lake Mead ranger

Dale Antonich of Boulder City, chief park ranger for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, has been awarded the highest honor given by the National Park Service.

Antonich was awarded the Harry Yount National Park Ranger Award by Vice President Al Gore Thursday as part of President Clinton's observation of Earth Day. The ceremony also coincides with the observance of National Park Week.
