Two softball coaches leave UNLV

Head softball coach Shan McDonald announced Thursday the departures of associate head coach Carol Spanks and assistant coach Christine Parris-Washington from the UNLV staff.

Spanks will be retiring from coaching at the conclusion of the season while Parris-Washington has signed a contract to play in the Women's Professional Softball League and will leave the team May 1.
