Letter: Face fact - Money a factor in war

The Serbs did the same thing to ethnic Albanian Muslims in Kosovo. That's the way the game is played in the Balkans. But before all the Albanians could come to Las Vegas, we (not NATO) blew the chessboard and players all to hell and turned an orderly process of natural selection into a bloodbath. Why?

The answer is simple: the Military Industrial Complex. The same Merchants of Death that President Eisenhower (who, you might say, was in a position to know what he was talking about) warned the nation against; the same Merchants of Death who pull the strings of our puppet president; the same Merchants of Death who laugh all the way to the bank with billions of taxpayer dollars.

My supervisor has a sister who works in a missile plant in California. She told him that the plant is now going full blast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that there is plenty of overtime work.

War is good for business. Say it the way it is and cut the crocodile tears.
