Letter: Make views known against fluoride

In my opinion, this is a controversial issue because it is being pushed as a "cure-all" for children's teeth. This in turn makes parents immediately want it without researching further (I have two children). Some research shows a startling contrast to this supposed wonder drug.

Regardless of which theory you adhere to, the point is that I and many others share the feeling that we should not be subjected to a substance in our water system which we find objectionable.

Other options exist for parents to care for their children's teeth (fluoride supplements, fluoride toothpaste) without the general population being forced to swallow it! Please call (800) 978-2878 to voice your opposition to this bill.
