Fire that destroyed mobile homes started accidentally

The unattended burn barrell sparked the fire that destroyed the mobile homes, a travel trailer at four trucks on East Highway 50 about 6 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.
The Central Lyon County Fire District responded to the call. The state fire marshall's office concluded the fire was accidental and no charges will be filed.
"Someone inadvertently threw something in it and it started to burn. We don't know exactly what it was," said Kim Evans, spokeswoman for the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety.
