Letter: Ground troops could shorten conflict

The sooner we end the war the better. We need to use whatever means necessary to end it. With airstrikes failing to achieve the objective of stopping the Yugoslav president, it may take a risky commitment to deal with the inhumane treatment of the people there.

The longer it takes to stop Milosevic, the more innocent people die. Ground troops will help put a speedy end to the war.
