Streisand's manager, Martin Erlichman, said the Las Vegas appearance on Dec. 31, 1999 may be her final public show.
Streisand appeared at the 13,000-seat arena for two New Year's holiday shows in 1993, just two weeks after the resort opened. They marked her first public performance for pay in nearly three decades, Erlichman said.
Following her two appearances here she went on a six-city tour in 1994.
"There is no question that Ms. Streisand's performance has been the single most sought-after entertainment event for this once-in-a-millennium occasion," said Richard Sturm, senior vice president of worldwide entertainment for MGM Grand Hotel, Inc.
Tickets for the event will range from $500 to $2,500, and will go on sale May 2.
