Junior team holds hockey tryouts

The Las Vegas Icemen, a new junior hockey team that will be based at the Sahara Ice Palace and affiliated with the Western States Hockey League, is looking for both players and sponsors for the upcoming season.

Tryouts are set for Aug. 28 at the Ice Palace, 800 Karen Ave. Prospective high-school aged players should call 862-4262 or 837-7862 for details.
