Letter: Rich always seem to be getting richer

If a person pays $1,000 income tax he will save $100. But if a person that pays $100,000 saves 10 percent he will save $10,000, which as a rule he doesn't even need.

This is a good way for us to get back in the deficit like the Reagan-Bush "read my lips" days.

What about the millions of Americans who are now in the stock market?

If they cash in $2,000 they will save $100. But if they cash in $1 million, which is standard procedure for big business and rich people's investments, they would save $50,000.

Doesn't anyone want to make Social Security solvent? Why are we always borrowing from the Social Security fund, and why can't we do a better job on Medicare?

If you have so much money spare, why not give us our fair share of Social Security benefits as Notch Babies. You all know we are being cheated of our due money.

Ninety-nine percent of the Notch Babies are World War II veterans.

Are you waiting for us all to die? What are you doing for the homeless?
