Theresa Bush

Theresa Bush, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Colorado. A resident for 22 years, she was born Aug. 19, 1907, in Bluehill, Neb.

She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Clark of Las Vegas and Patsy Salazar of Denver; one sister, Leona Kordes of Colorado; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Julia F. Elkie

Julia F. Elkie, 79, of Sun Valley died Sunday in Reno. She was born Oct. 25, 1919, in Addison, N.Y. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker, a former member of Henderson Community Church and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Basic Post 3848 Auxiliary in Henderson.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Loudermilk of Reno and Doris Massingill of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers, William Jaynes and Richard Jaynes, both of Burdette, N.Y., and Ralph Jaynes of Beaver Dam, N.Y.; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

The family suggests donations to VFW Basic Post 3849 of Henderson or the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Barbara C. Garvey

Barbara C. Garvey, 71, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Minneapolis. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Republican Club and Beta Signa Phi.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan K. Conrad of Thatcher, Ariz.; two sons, Thomas P. Garvey of North Las Vegas and Richard C. Garvey of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Jo Johnson of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, H.R. Bob Campbell of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Ingrid 'Carla' Greene

Ingrid "Carla" Greene, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 29, 1947, in San Diego. A resident for 42 years, she was a PBX operator at Bally's for 22 years.

She is survived by three brothers, Carl Anderson, Bill Anderson and Donald Anderson, and one sister, Vickie Dillon, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy C. Guberman

Dorothy C. Guberman, 99, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 31, 1900, in Chicago. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired retailer.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Michael J. Harvey

Michael J. Harvey, 68, of Stateline died Monday in a Carson City hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1930, in North Hollywood, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident from 1976-79, he was a retired gaming employee for 30 years and a Korean War Army veteran who was the recipient of the Purple Heart.

He is survived by one son, Duane Michael Harvey of Santa Monica, Calif.; two daughters, Tracey Elaine Harvey-Arick of Venice, Calif., and Johnnine Marie Wahl of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; two sisters, Deann Smith of Burbank, Calif., and Jacqueline Schlueter of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. FitzHenry's Funeral Home, Carson City, is handling arrangements.

Richard Logan Lanham

Richard Logan Lanham, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born March 8, 1943, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 35 years, he was a truck driver who worked for five years at Valley Foods.

He is survived by two daughters, Theresa Carroll of Las Vegas and Brenda Szabo of Gilbert, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Friday at 4 p.m. in Liberty Baptist Church, 6501 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

L. Richard Longchamps

L. Richard Longchamps, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 22, 1936, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for 10 years, she was an accountant for 20 years for an automotive firm.

He is survived by two brothers, Raymond Longchamps of Portland, Ore., and Paul Longchamps of Manchester, Conn.; and one sister, Evelyn Taylor of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 9-10:15 a.m. Friday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St.

Billie Estelle Marsh

Billie Estelle Marsh, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Comanche County, Texas. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired assembler for a sportswear factory.

She is survived by four daughters, Donna Charlton and Jo Fannin, both of Las Vegas, Celeta Smith of Hesperia, Calif., and Teri Tuttle of Murrieta, Calif.; one brother, Dennis Marsh of Virginia; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Judy Rowland

Judy Rowland, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 3, 1950, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 10 years, she was a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; one son, Eugene Smith of Corpus Christi, Texas; her mother, Katherine Carter of Pawnee, Okla.; and two sisters, Cathy Brink of Pawnee and Deborah K. Paris of Foley, Ala.

Visitation is private. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Karen Selland

Karen Selland, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born June 7, 1941, in Wallace, Idaho. A resident for 33 years, she was a real estate brokerage firm owner-operator and life director of Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.

She is survived by one son, Steve Helmbrecht of Redmond, Wash.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Phyllis Bernice Sinclair

Phyllis Bernice Sinclair, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1919, in Cleveland. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, John Sinclair of Pittsburgh, Tim Sinclair and Rodger Sinclair, both of Las Vegas, and Terrence Sinclair of Avon, Ohio; three daughters, Joan McNulty of Jacksonville, Fla., Peggy Leonard of Westlake, Ohio, and Janet Bucci of Strongsville, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin 8:30 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Justin Lee Turner

Justin Lee Turner, 3 months, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 14, 1999, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Tina and Robert Turner, and one brother, Robert Turner Jr.; his grandparents, Jackie and David Turner of Las Vegas and Wanda and Robert Wade of Pahrump; and his great-grandparents, Martha and Ozel Turner of Bloomington, Calif.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until noon services Friday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Pecos Road. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Robert R. Witkowski

Robert R. Witkowski, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 19 years, he was a casino boxman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Witkowski of Columbus, Ohio; his mother, Kathy Mertz of Las Vegas; his father, Edwin Witkowski of Steubenville; and three brothers, Paul Witkowski of Las Vegas, Edwin Witkowski Jr. of Steubenville and Timothy Witkowski of Carmichael, Calif.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
