LV gas prices hit $1.44, set record in Reno

Average gasoline prices in Reno have reached an all-time high, AAA Nevada reported.

The agency reports Reno gas prices now average $1.71 a gallon, a 17-cent increase in just three weeks. The previous record of $1.59 was set in April.

In Las Vegas, gas prices have risen 7 cents per gallon, and now average $1.44. That's still 20 cents below April's all-time high here, AAA reports.
