Church holds free classes on Wednesdays
The Divorced and Widowed Adjustment Group holds classes exploring relationships 7:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave.

Disneyland trip, water skiing planned
Adaptive Water skiing is being offered Saturday at the Lorenzi Adaptive Recreation Center, 3333 W. Washington Ave. Call 229-2296.
Also the city of Las Vegas Lorenzi Adaptive Recreation Center is sponsoring a Disneyland trip for adults of all abilities Saturday. The cost is $100 and includes round-trip transportation. Call 229-6358.
Free cholesterol check scheduled Wednesday
University Medical Center's Silver Advantage program is offering a free cholesterol screening 8:30-9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Craig Quick Care Center, 2202 Craig Road.
Participants may eat a light breakfast and take their medications. To schedule an appointment, contact the UMC Silver Advantage office at 383-2095.
State office helps settle disputed charges
The Office for Hospital Patients, a state agency, offers free advice and assistance to people who have questions or issues with hospital bills.
The toll-free number (800) 992-0900 is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Immunizations
Health District immunization clinics are open each week in Southern Nevada. Immunizations are provided without charge to children and young adults under the age of 21 in any of three public health centers and 36 immunization clinics. The following clinics will be open this week, Wednesday through Aug. 24:
District Health Center: 625 Shadow Lane, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
North Las Vegas Public Health Center: 3262 Civic Center Drive, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Henderson Public Health Center: 129 W. Lake Mead Drive, Building A, Suite 10, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
East Las Vegas Public Health Center: 560 N. Nellis Blvd., Suite E12, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tonopah WIC Clinic: 5A Tonopah Ave., 9 a.m-noon and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday.
A.D. Guy Clinic: Boys & Girls Club, 817 N St., 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday.
