Tikaila Allen-Kane, 12 weeks, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1999, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her parents, Shannon and Christina; and one brother, Ezekiel Nalukea Allen-Kane.

Loretta Ann Banks

Loretta Ann Banks, 58, of Sandy Valley died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 3, 1940, in West Virginia. A resident for 10 years, she was an oil company cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; one son, Clay Banks of Las Vegas; and three daughters, Debbie Banks Humphery of Las Vegas and Alice Eagbeth and Tereha Dreyfus, both of California.

Mary Louise Benedict, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A real estate broker, she was born July 6, 1939.

She is survived by one son, Mitchell Benedict; one daughter, Jamie L. Benedict; and one brother, Jack Cooper.

Jeremy M. Butler

Jeremy M. Butler, 20, of Boulder City died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 3, 1979, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for seven years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Larry Butler, and one sister, Angela Weirich, all of Boulder City; and his grandmother, Helen Bivens of Elk Horn, Iowa.

Vincent J. Capparelli

Vincent J. Capparelli, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a plumber and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one son, Joseph Capparelli of Mabank, Texas; three daughters, Frances LaFrance and Veronica Miller, both of Las Vegas and Judy Brinlee of Del City, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Celso S. Cayari

Celso S. Cayari, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1931, in Polilan Bulacan, Philippines. A resident for five years, he was a hotel porter.

He is survived by his wife, Concorcia; six daughters, Zenaiba C. Cayari, Milagros C. Amante and Ma. Theresa C. Susara, all of Canada, Rosario C. Price of Las Vegas, Susan C. Martin of San Bernardino, Calif., and Cecikia C. Chan of the Philippines; three sons, Crispin C. Cayari, Conrado C. Cayari and Cesar C. Cayari, his mother, Eugenia Suarez Cayari, and two sisters, Librada C. Salac and Anecia C. Tongol, all of the Philippines; one brother, Nicanor S. Cayari of San Francisco; and 14 grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Thomas Jewell Cox, 49, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 9, 1950, in Illinois. A resident for four years, he was a certification specialist and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna G.; one son, Thomas Cox of North Las Vegas; his mother, Doris May Cox, his father, A.B. Cox, three brothers, Bill Cox, Steve Cox and Jerry Cox, and two sisters, Patti Young and Vickie Truitt, all of Princeton, Ind.

Thelma L. Cutolo, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born May 27, 1920, in Waurika, Okla. A resident for 34 years, she was a retired dental assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two daughters, Linda Gipson of Dallas and Peggy Schmidt of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Marguerite Ward of Dougherty, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Angelo F. DeMenno, 76, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born July 3, 1923, in Mamaroneck, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War chief master sergeant and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J.; one son, Donald De Menno of Sacramento; one stepson, Dale Ryan of Saugus, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Debra Gibson of Las Vegas; one brother, Francis De Menno of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Doris Wilson Fox, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born May 30, 1922, in Ohio. A resident for 14 years, she was a negative cutter in the motion picture industry and a member of Film Technicians Union Local 683.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Ivan Fox of Gilbert, Ariz., and Rodger Loren Fox of Corona, Calif.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Frances Mary Garofalo, 66, of Las Vegas died Aug. 3 in a local hospital. She was born May 15, 1933, in Italy. A resident for four years, she was a steam presser for a laundromat.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Mozyaski; and one sister, Maryanne Forsythe.

Brian Donald Garriques

Brian Donald Garriques, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Rhode Island. A resident for 43 years, he was president of an insurance agency and an insurance broker for 42 years, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Zelzah Shrine Temple, National Wild Horse Association, Masonic Lodge Daylite 44, Scottish Rite Bodies, Roughriders Inc., and the Elks.

He is survived by one son, Brian Garriques Jr. of New Jersey.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

William Alfred Harley, 52, of Las Vegas died June 6 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1946, in Connecticut. A resident for many years, he was a casino kitchen worker.

He is survived by four brothers, Richard Harley of Jamestown, N.Y., and Kevin Harley, George Harley and Ron Harley, all of Connecticut; one sister, Carole Molyneaux of Connecticut.

William Guy Hill, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 28, 1931, in Waterloo, Iowa. A resident for 34 years, he was a Montgomery Ward's employee for 26 years and a 7-Eleven convenience store owner.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; four sons, Guy Hill of San Diego and Chris Hill, Andy Hill and John Hill, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Joannie Hill of Las Vegas; his mother, Velma Dockery of Princeton, Ind.; one brother, Raymond Tuley of Guerneville, Calif.; one sister, Merlene Levers of Princeton; and 10 grandchildren.

A vigil will be 7 p.m. today in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Christ the King. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Anna Hochstein, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born June 3, 1905, in St. Petersburg, Russia. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Zoya Jenks of Lewisburg, Pa.; one son, Lawrence Hochstein of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Grace L. Hogue, 94, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 15, 1905, in Pennsylvania. She was a registered nurse for the Public Health Department, a member of the Visiting Nurse Association for 25 years and a member of Triple A for 50 years.

She is survived by one sister, Alice M. Lease of Las Vegas; and one nephew, Robert Lease.

Jane M. Honore, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 3, 1935, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 18 years, she was a gaming cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Sr.; one son, Fred Honore II of Hudsonville, Mich.; two daughters, Gayle Grant of Las Vegas and Renee Stormes of Syracuse, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

James Wallace Larson, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 2, 1926, in California. A resident for 7 1/2 years, he was a security officer, a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, a charter member of American Legion in Laughlin and a lifetime member of the Cootie in Bullhead City, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemae; two sons, Donnie DeSpain and Frank DeSpain; two daughters, Tami DeSpain and Ruby DeSpain; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ann Lewis, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 13, 1905, in New York City. A resident for five years, she was a retired retail sales owner-operator.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Lewis of Las Vegas and Shelly Jaffe of Wilmette, Ill.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

J.W. Long, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired salesman of automotive stereos.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Schell of Galveston, Texas, and Maribel Long of Las Vegas; four sons, Kevin Long of Las Vegas, Kenneth H. Long of Des Moines and Kenneth L. Long and Keith Long, both of Henderson; and 12 grandchildren.

Michael J. Lorenzo, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1950, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a real estate broker/salesman, a Desert Storm Army veteran, a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves, past president of Early Eagles Toastmasters and member of the Las Vegas Board of Realtors, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy A.; one daughter, Jean Lorenzo of Las Vegas; his parents, Diane and John Lorenzo of Staten Island; two sisters, Mary Ann Pape of Staten Island and Diana Bunker of Las Vegas; and one brother, Arthur Lorenzo of Las Vegas.

He is survived by one son, Gerald Manko of Redondo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ronald E. Moore, 52, and Sherry Lynn Moore, 49, both of Las Vegas, died Friday near Mesquite. He was born March 4, 1947, in Montrose, Colo. She was born June 3, 1950, in Rockford, Ill. Ronald, a resident for 14 years, was a Del Webb Corp. home construction inspector, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a graduate of Rancho High School. Sherry, a resident for 13 years, was a teller at Norwest Bank.

They are survived by one son, Jason Moore of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dawn Moore of Elko; and three grandchildren. Ronald is also survived by four sisters, Jeanne Torrey and Lois Nelson, both of Las Vegas, Donna Reeder of Kremmling, Colo., and Lou King of Grants, N.M.; and two brothers, Joseph Moore and his twin brother, Donald Moore, both of Las Vegas.

Doris D. Richardson, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Houston. A resident for 40 years, she was a Clark County School District family aide.

She is survived by her husband, Carey Jr.; one daughter, Jan Washington of Las Vegas; four stepsons, Michael Richardson, Ricky Richardson and Roman Richardson, all of Las Vegas, and Andre Richardson of San Bernardino, Calif.; and several grandchildren.

Willie Bell Walker, 64, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born May 24, 1935, in Millhaven, Ga. A resident for 13 years, she was a teacher, a member of the Drifters Chapter of Las Vegas and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

She is survived by her husband, William Jr.; two sons, Michael-Jay Walker of Chicago and Rodney Walker of Henderson; one sister, Mary Henderson of Detroit; two brothers, Cheatham Brazill Jr. of River Rouge, Mich., and Willie Brazill of Detroit; and one grandchild.
