During World War II people of many faiths and nationalities were rounded up like cattle and herded into hard labor and concentration camps. Twelve million died while the Nazi juggernaut rolled on.
Our boxcar ended up at camp Baggerloch, in Heidelberg, already overloaded with POWs from the Ukraine, Serbs, Gypsies and at least 28 of us Dutchmen.
The best way to stop idiots from running amok is to make sure enough people around us are qualified to carry a concealed weapon.
If the citizens of Europe would have been armed, Hitler never would have come to power and 12 million lives would have been saved.
