Feds reverse decision allowing Indian casino

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The U.S. Interior Department has reversed itself and rescinded a decision that had cleared the way for a tribal casino in Miami County, Kan.
The Kansas City Star reported the agency offered no explanations and left in doubt the future of several legal actions under way.
Kansas sued the federal agency earlier this month after it indicated the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma was eligible to seek a federal gaming license for a casino proposed for an area 45 miles southwest of Kansas City.
