Jose's parents are Libia and Noberto Alpizar of North Plainfield, N.J.
The bride, a graduate of Middlesex County College with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene, is studying dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
The groom is director of security for Park Place Entertainment.
The pair celebrated their wedding by honeymooning in Portugal.
