Letter: Where does GOP stand on recent George W. debate?

OK all you right-wing ultraconservative Republicans out there, this is your big chance.

It's time to step up to the plate and show the rest of the world that you are not the hypocrites everybody thinks you are.

When it was revealed that President Clinton smoked pot and avoided the draft years ago you took great pleasure in bashing our president relentlessly.

I distinctly remember one person stating "We don't want a draft-dodging pot smoker leading our country or being commander-in-chief of our military."

Well, now that the news is out that George Bush might have tried cocaine and pulled strings and used special favors to get into the National Guard, we all want to know what you have to say about it.

Of course, you'll make excuses and find reasons why the two situations couldn't possibly be compared, and guess what? You'll just prove that you are the hypocrites everybody knows you are.
