Tower Full - Dueled lead and runner up to top pick in last, in the quinella 8 of 15 starts at this distance with 4 of 9 career victories, should be a foward factor again, may complete a deja vu quinella here. Value Play -- Grady

2ND RACE

Mary Livermore - Returns to races with good worktab, bullet 6-panel drill on the 4th, most recent move second-best of 20 on the 24th, drops to claimer after non-threatening trio of outings, McCarron reuintes on McAnally trainee for this. Dixie River - 1st time starter by River Special, has solid works with most recent six moves at Del Mar, good post and well placed, trainer Hess tabs Desormeaux for debut. Value Play -- Miss Valid Moment

3RD RACE

Busy Little Beaver - Hard knocking gelding set to crank it up again, solid works for return to races, in the quinella 4 of 6 starts at this distance with a trio of victories, Baffert speedster draws rail and gets regular pilot Flores back. Meatball - Switches back to dirt for only third time of 24-race career here, dueled lead and tired to 4th on lawn in last, drops back to competitive level, should stalk top pick from two-hole, could trip out if top one gets short. Value Play -- Dorcheat Bid

4TH RACE

Early Mass - Stalked 3-wide and bested rest with distant 3rd in last, dueled lead and closer 4th at longer before that, runner up 2 of 3 prior races, draws inner post here, Desormeaux takes over on Hess trainee, two nice drills since raced. Bois D' Amour - 1st time starter by Woodman, solid works with sharp 6-panel gate work on 7/10 and most recent 3rd best of 32 6-panel gate works on the 22nd, first time lasix and trainer Puype tabs McCarron for debut. Value Play -- Burst

5TH RACE

Top Order - Set pace and gamely held close runner up at this trip over the course in last, late 3-wide bid sprinting on Hollypark lawn while close runner up in U.S. debut before that, draws good inner post, Flores back on Drysdale trainee. Spicy Girl - French import makes U. S. debut here, solid series of Del Mar works with bullet 7-panel drill on the 16th, although only maiden victory on 8-race record respect connections of McCarron/McAnally, could fire fresh. 6TH RACE

Rapid Access - Even 5th in last, dueled lead 3-deep and held game debut runner up before that, now drops to claimer and adds blinkers, Nakatani stays for brother-in-law trainer Dollace, all systems seem go for graduation here. Fairly's Dancer - 4-wide rally into stretch for 2nd in last, late rally on rail for debut 3rd before that, steps up in claiming price here, Flores becomes third different rider in as many starts for Hollendorfer trainee, may Dance in winner circle. Roca Jack - Returns to races with sizzling recent worktab, most recent pair of drills bullet moves, outrun by General Challenge on January 1st in last, broke maiden at Hollypark last November before that, lands easier comeback spot here. Starship - Part of entry with Tzigane, set pace and caught late when 3rd sprinting on Hollypark lawn off five-month layoff in last, runner up 3 of 4 prior starts and broke maiden in debut six races back, had tightener, a factor throughout. Sayarshan - Bombed in Grade II Sunset 'Cap in mid-July on Hollypark lawn in last, monster U.S. debut victory in Grade III Golden Gate 'Cap before that, freshened with solid Del Mar drills, may have bounced in last, give another chance here. Ladies Din - Trainer Canani was considering Pacific Classis on Sunday but opted for this spot to stay on preferred surface, half of 8 career victories are from 5 starts over this course, just missed while 2nd in last pair of Graded outings, tough here. Continentalsuccess - 3-wide and just missed when 2nd by a neck with best career effort in last, shortens up a half-furlong here, draws inner post and Pincay stays, maybe the tenth time will be the charm.
