A March 15 sentencing date was set for Mary Teresa Fry, 46, of Minden, after she entered the plea last week in Douglas District Court as part of a plea bargain.
Fry was accused of taking $17,705 from fees turned into the court clerk's office between August 1996 and June 1998.
She was arrested Dec. 1 after an investigation by the Douglas County District Attorney's Office.
A gambling problem led to the embezzlement, according to court records.
The records show more than 50 court case files were affected, with discrepancies ranging from $40 to $3,000. She has since repaid the money.
