Brief: Workers' child care center opening at resort

The Venetian is set to open in April.
The Minneapolis-based New Horizons said the Venetian center will offer educational-based child development programs for children of six weeks to 12 years of age.
This is the first Las Vegas Strip location for New Horizons, which says it is the largest provider of hourly child care to the casino industry. New Horizons previously announced plans to open centers this year at Texas Station in North Las Vegas and at the AVI hotel-casino in Laughlin.
