Letter: Smoker should face up reality
Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999 | 10:31 a.m.
Well, there are smokers and there are smokers. Some are considerate and courteous. And some like Zemeckis, arrogant and rude.
Hank says if you don't like the smoke, you should stay out of the casinos. No doubt Hank is a fair man, so if I told him I'd like to expectorate, I'm sure he would not object to my habit. (Which I do not do.)
So what's fair is fair, right Hank? Well, Hank and his wife are out dining, and if I walk by their table and spit in Hank's clam chowder, that would be all right. I'm sure it's my habit, and after all, Hank, you expel something that was in your body, and I am forced to breath it, like it or not.
Got the picture? Of course, if you don't like it, you and your wife should stay out of restaurants.
