Francisco P. Castillo, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for three months, he was a retired automotive mechanic, a Coast Guard veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Marta; two daughters, Cynthia of Michigan and Nicasia of California; five sons, Jesse of Colorado, Anthony, Mario and Francisco Jr., all of California, and Juan Jose of Nevada; five sisters, Lydia and Cynthia, both of California, Zeny and Hedy, both of Nevada, and Lulu of Germany; two brothers, Virgilio of the Philippines and Dante of California; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

David Michael Colin

David Michael Colin, 55, of Carlsbad, Calif., died Sunday in California. He was born March 25, 1943, in New York City. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a dealer at the Sahara hotel-casino for many years and most recently worked at Oceans 11 casino in California.

He is survived by one sister, Harriet Matthews of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Ralph Leo Cooper

Ralph Leo Cooper, 54, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1944, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 49 years, he was an entertainer.

He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Allen of Las Vegas; his father, Charles R. Cooper Sr. of North Las Vegas; two brothers, William Cooper of Las Vegas and Larry Cooper of Irvine, Texas; seven sisters, Patricia Griffin of Henderson, Julia Matlock, Linda Van Norman and Vaneshia Cooper, all of Las Vegas, Jacqueline Cooper of San Francisco, Mae Helen Hall of Fordyce and Jean McGee of Stockton, Calif.; and his grandmother, Julia Samuel of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Friday in the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Isobel Horn Donaldson

Isobel Horn Donaldson, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 16, 1907, in Live Oak, Fla. A resident for 40 years, she was a caterer and florist with the Tropicana hotel-casino.

She is survived by one son, Don Donaldson, and one daughter, Dess Eastman, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Christopher James Doyle

Christopher James Doyle, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1932, in Dublin, Ireland. A resident for one year, he was a retired lithographer.

He is survived by one daughter, Adrienne Brennan of Newport Beach, Calif.; two sons, Keith Doyle of Las Vegas and Graham Doyle of Monterey, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Mary J. Edwards

Mary J. Edwards, 62, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 10 years, she was a retail sales clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; four daughters, Dawn Uccelli and Dianne Beebe, both of Reno, Jessica Devin of Minneapolis and Debrah Edwards of Henderson; one brother, Eugene Hlatky of Hartford, Conn.; and nine grandchildren.

John J. Getler

John J. Getler, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born July 17, 1923, in New York City. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired Sands hotel-casino bellman for 33 years and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Georgine B.; two sons, Terrence L. Getler and Kevin B. Getler, and two daughters, Christine E. Yenchek and Colleen M. Abrams, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Anthony "Tony G." Jude Giordani, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 25 years, he was a casino floorman.

He is survived by his wife, Debra A.; two sons, Dustin Giordani and Travis Giordani, one sister, Maria C. Brown, and one brother, John L. Giordani II, all of Las Vegas; and his parents, John L. and Patricia M. Giordani of Tucson, Ariz.

Jerry Hull, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1942, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for two years, he was an estimator for a commercial floor coverer and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, John Hull of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Derrick Hull of San Clemente, Calif.; his mother, Aimie Hull of Buckeye, Ariz.; one sister, Sharon Metzger of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one brother, James Hull of Tempe, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Dorothy M. Kronz

Dorothy M. Kronz, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Sr.; one son, James F. Kronz Jr. of Las Vegas; one sister, Anna Mae Clark of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Marilyn Strege Martin

Marilyn Strege Martin, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 11, 1937, in New York. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired telecommunications vice president and a member of American Business Women's Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Lori Strege of Henderson and Sheri Hill of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Pam Martin of Las Vegas; one stepson, Charles Martin Jr. of Denver; and three grandchildren.

Marcus Rich Miller, 28, of Las Vegas died Jan. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born June 3, 1970, in Miami. A resident for two years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Miller Sbrocco, and one sister, Maradith Miller, both of Las Vegas.

Walter Moran

Walter Moran, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Apache, Okla. A resident for six years, he was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; six children, Gene Moran, Ken Moran, Dale Moran, Darlene Zitek and John Moran, all of Las Vegas, and Lee Moran of Aurora, Colo.; two brothers, Joe Moran of Tulsa, Okla., and Jack Moran of Hopefield, Ga.; one sister, Wanda Clark of Tulsa; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Karl Nemeth

Karl Nemeth, 39, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 12, 1959, in New York City. A resident for many years, he was a parts manager for a car dealership.

He is survived by his father, Walter Nemeth, and his mother, Erika Rossi, both of New York.

Marshall R. Shanas

Marshall R. Shanas, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Chicago. a resident for six years, he was a retired automotive service repairman, a World War II Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Parkinson's Society and Marine Corps League.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; three sons, Richard Harold Shanas of Chicago, Russell Allen Shanas of Tucson, Ariz., and Ronald Merrill Shanas of New Castle, Ind.; two sisters, Ethel Pearlman of Evanston, Ill., and Sadie Coleman of San Francisco; one brother, Seymore Sopkin of Tampa, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 2:15 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Henry Louis Shapiro

Henry Louis Shapiro, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Berlin. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a retired electronics engineer for General Electric, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Confederate Air Force, IEEEE and MDA.

He is survived by two two sons, Gary Shapiro of Santa Monica, Calif., and Daniel Shapiro of Sacramento; one daughter, Ruth Garraventa of Reno; one brother, Raymond Shapiro of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Charles W. 'Bill' Stilson

Charles W. 'Bill' Stilson, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Michigan. A resident for five years, he was an Air Force pilot, a member of the Zelzah Shriners, Scottish Rite Bodies, American Legion, Veterans in Politics, Air Force Association, National Committee to Reserve SS and Medicare, TROA and Second Air Division.

He is survived by his wife, "Pat" Wyvona; two sons, John Stilson of Washington state and Brian Stilson of South Carolina; one daughter, Carol Ross of Las Vegas; one brother, Guy Stilson of Georgia; one sister, Gladys Powell of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.

A service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Nellis Air Force Base chapel. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Gwendolyn Louise White

Gwendolyn Louise White, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 23, 1925, in Louisiana. A resident for 14 years, she was a counselor/bookkeeper in social services.

She is survived by one brother, Gerald Peters; two sisters, Doris H. Dardridge and Alice Wilson; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A service will be 3 p.m. Friday in the memorial chapel at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Lillie Mae Whitaker

Lillie Mae Whitaker, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Emad, La. A resident for 31 years, she was an income controller for 23 years at Caesars Palace, a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrines and Eastern Star (Texas Order).

She is survived by one son, Donald Whitaker of Las Vegas; two brothers, Wilburn Wood of Texas and Bennett Wood of Colorado; one sister, Ethel Fritsche of Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Texas.
