Letter: UNLV players must stay

Regarding Dean Juipe's column about the three young players that want to transfer out of the UNLV basketball program. I think coach Bill Bayno would be in serious trouble if these players decide to leave. It's not like the Rebels can afford to lose talented players; they are not as deep a team as Duke yet.

I have only seen a couple of games this year but it seems that when Desmond Herod plays, he plays well. He is an excellent shooter and a better defender then Brian Keefe.

I have only seen Chris Richardson play once, but I have to think that he has more talent then Donovan Stewart and should be getting the same amount of minutes. I have to think all the talk of players not being happy has to hurt UNLV's chances with Jason Kopono, as well as other possible recruits.
