Letter: State income tax idea not a good one

Why? So enough funds can be generated to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars to entice corporations to move to Nevada. That's just great. Take money out of my pocket for corporate welfare. Where did this guy come from?

I have a better suggestion.

Let's not lust after every last dollar of commerce that tax money can buy. Use common sense to diversify the state's economy and manage growth at a rate that can be handled by the current tax structure in our state.

We all live in a state where the tax environment is good for people and corporations alike. Let's keep it that way and deposit Mr. Hollingsworth's idea where it belongs -- in the circular file.
