Alberta M. Adensam, 95, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1903, in Chicago. A resident for four years, she was a retired retail sales clerk and a member of the American Legion for 62 years in Des Moines, Iowa.

She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Paznokas and Elaine Cameron, both of Las Vegas; one son, William Day of McHenry, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Alton A. Binion

Alton A. Binion, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 11, 1941, in Lawton, Ky. A resident for 11 years, he was an Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Yumiko; one daughter, Wanda Barlow of Crestview, Fla.; two sons, William Binion of Las Vegas and Joseph Binion of San Diego; his father and stepmother, Ora and Wanda Binion of Warren, Ohio; two sisters, Sue Mock of Girard, Ohio, and Joyce Manuel of Mesa, Ariz.; four brothers, Ravon Binion, David Binion and Jack Binion, all of Mesa, and William Binion of Warren; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Nellis Air Force Base chapel. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Velma Coady

Velma Coady, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Harlan County, Neb. A resident for 58 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 18.

She is survived by one daughter, Kay Dudley of Las Vegas; one sister, Irene Ostrand of Fort Collins, Colo.; one brother, Dean Pape of Oxford, Neb.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Flura S. Denson

Flura S. Denson, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born March 20, 1907, in Point Cedar, Ark. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Clayburn V. Denson, and one daughter, Nadine Stokes, both of Henderson; one brother, Henry Evart Small of Smackover, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Helen E. Friedrich

Helen E. Friedrich, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 16, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired Army major, a federal government employee and a Korean War veteran.

She is survived by several nieces; several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1:30 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Vincent Eugene Gabaldon

Vincent Eugene Gabaldon, 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 17, 1947, in New Mexico. A resident for five years, he was a glass company owner and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; four sons, Joaquin Gabaldon, Nathan Gabaldon, John Gabaldon and Roger Gabaldon, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Diana Gabaldon of Quincy, Mass.; and one brother, Harold Gabaldon of New Mexico.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kathryn Garner

Kathryn Garner, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 9, 1921, in Kemp, Okla. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James M.

James Gmeiner

James Gmeiner, 56, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Appleton, Wis. A resident for 18 years, he was a hotel security officer, a Vietnam War Navy veteran, a certified CPR instructor for the Red Cross and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one son, Raymond Perez of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Wayne J. Gmeiner and Dennis Michaelis, both of Appleton, and Ronald Lietz of Townsend, Wis.

Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Marjorie Rhea Green, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1931, in Abilene, Texas. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired hotel waitress.

She is survived by one son, Robin W.; three daughters, Marsha Peables of Buda, Texas, and Karen Green and Kelly Green, both of Austin, Texas; one brother, Douglas Tatum of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Ann Soe of Manilla, Iowa, and Letha Mae Merkle of Snohomish, Wash.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Edna Faye Hamilton

Edna Faye Hamilton, 90, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1909, in Rice, Texas. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired telecommunications operator.

She is survived by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Arthur G. Hood

Arthur G. Hood, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 29, 1912, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, he was a wholesale produce broker.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two daughters, Cynthia Hood of Las Vegas and Jessica Aranita of San Diego; one stepson, James Roger Hindmarch of California; and three grandchildren.

John William Hudson

John William Hudson, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1965, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a carpenter and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his father, James; and three brothers, Joel, James and Jerry Hudson.

Doris J. King, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1935, in North Dakota. A resident for nine years, she was a slot attendant.

She is survived by her husband, Gary P.; three daughters, Kathie Bronaugh of Omaha, Neb., Marnie King of Las Vegas and Susan Parsons of Florence, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

Michael Marianno, 44, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 22, 1954, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for three years, he was a retired ironworker.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Bouvier, and one sister, Donna Morris, both of Maplewood, N.J.; and two brothers, Robert Marianno of Las Vegas and Joe Marianno of Gainesville, Fla.

Jack P. O'Sullivan, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1927, in New Zealand. A resident for seven years, he was a tavern owner.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene O'Sullivan.

Raymond W. Tomaszewski

Raymond W. Tomaszewski, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 22, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 28 years, he was a maintenance worker for the Clark County School District, a retired military veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one brother, Joseph Tomaszewski of Chicago; and two sisters, Clem Moraski of Chicago and Martha Karp of Ocean City Lake, Fla.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Sunday with a 4:30 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Eileen Day Waddell, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1909, in Alaska. A resident for nine years, she was a college music teacher.

She is survived by one son, Gary Waddell of Las Vegas; one sister, Kay Davidson of Nebraska; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Clifton L. Williams

Clifton L. Williams, 62, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 18, 1936, in Lockney, Texas. A resident for 14 years, he was a Postal Service employee, a retired Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the Masons and Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Rita Springer of Henderson and Jeannette Smith of Germantown, Md.; one brother, Calvin Williams of Kingston, Okla.; three sisters, Irene Sinclair and Thelma Williams, both of Plainview, Texas, and Alta Trussel of Dallas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary-Eastern.

Lucille M. Zucca, 70, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1928, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired change person.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph Zucca and Matthew Zucca, both of North Las Vegas and Peter Zucca of Mapoca, N.Y.; one daughter, Teresa Zamit of Las Vegas; two brothers, Charles Malluzzo of Tennessee and Carmine Malluzzo of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Theresa Ricci of the Bronx; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
