1ST RACE:

Lake Veronica - Returns to races with steady works, 3rd in the mud at Golden Gate early-December in last, broke maiden while claimed four races back, Delahoussaye reunites on Mitchell trainee.

Mojave Bay - Another returner with steady works, broke maiden at this trip and track late-December in last, back for a tag here, McCarron again on Van Berg trainee.

Value Play -- Cozy Spell

2ND RACE:

Dressing Gown - Made bid, led then outfinished when runner up at this trip and course in last, 3rd on the main in U.S. debut before that, pair of nice works since raced, Dressing for cap and Gown graduation.

Solitary Angel - Off slow and 5-wide when outrun in last, runner up in only turf outing before that, freshened with pair of bullet 6-panel drills, Valdivia takes over and returns to turf, Angel may spread wings here.

Value Play -- Lady At Peace

3RD RACE:

Princess Candi - Stalked early and split field when 4th in last, broke maiden before that, drops two levels now, Ramsammy stays.

Most of All - 3-wide and driving to win last, only multiple winner in the field with 3 victories, 2 for 5 at Anita, draws good rail post, Solis returns for repeat try.

Value Play -- Monica Luxury

4TH RACE:

Pool Music - Bobbled at the start, waited into the stretch and runner up in last, stalked and gamely won before that, reunites with Nakatani now, should get a foward trip to win this.

Dr. Aftergood - Come-from-behind 5-wide winner of last when in need of a race, won 2 of prior 3 outings, Solis stays on Spawr trainee, bounce is only concern.

Value Play -- Grappa

5TH RACE:

Barthelemy - French-raced import makes U.S. debut with solid worktab, series of long works followed by most recent bullet blowout on the 10th, adds blinkers and lasix, Stevens gets stateside call on young Dollace trainee.

Early Pioneer - Solid off-the-pace sprint win in last, in quinella half ofthe 14 lifetime starts with 4 victories, back routing on turf now, Pincay takes over, must overcome outside post.

Value Play -- Montjoy

6TH RACE:

Malibu Wesley - Broke maiden with good run in last, finished 1st but disqualified from the win before that, returns here with better post, McCarron returns on Ellis trainee for repeat win.

Dancing Afleet - 3-wide and second best at this trip in last, 3rd before that, broke maiden three races back, needs to conserve ground into the first turn from outside post.

Value Play -- Nationalore

7TH RACE:

Excellent Meeting - Trainer Baffert Avis filly makes 1999 debut, in the quinella 7 of 8 lifetime starts with 4 victories, won Grade I Hollywood Starlet by daylight mid-December in last, working well, Kent back aboard.

Here's to You - Gate-to-wire win in Grade III Hollypark turf stakes late-November in last, in the quinella 4 of 5 lifetime starts, freshened with steady works, Eddie D. returns.

Value Play -- Holywood Picture

8TH RACE:

Kitza - Irish import makes U.S. debut with impressive resume, stakes-placed in three Group I outings over the pond, in the quinella 6 of 14 lifetime starts, solid works and Delahoussaye for stateside start.

Danira - Returns to races in young trainer Dollace's barn, French-raced Irish-bred won U.S. debut on Hollypark lawn last May followed by a pair of runner up efforts before layoff, training well and reunites with winning rider Gomez.

Value Play -- Sharp Eyes

9TH RACE:

Kabob - Flattened out in Golden Gate mud in last, runner up from inside post sprinting at Hollypark three races back, drops a level, Valdivia stays, needs trip from inside start.

Young Husband - 4th while claimed at twice this price in last, bobbled and steadied at the start then just missed when 2nd by a head before that, draws better post and level here, Pincay takes over for new connections.

Value Play -- Spellbounder
