Four convicted in death of Reno man

Craig Dean Minard, Johnny Lyle Picotte, Kevin Joe Picotte and Daniel Voss were found guilty Friday of various charges in the death of Esteban Morales Adame, 26, whose body was found in the Truckee River in Sparks.

Minard was found guilty of first-degree murder. The Picottes each were found guilty of kidnapping, and Voss was convicted of false imprisonment.

Robert Wells was found innocent of all charges, and the jury was unable to reach a verdict involving Gregory James Bennett on a murder charge.

Police said the charges stemmed from disputes over drugs, and Morales was beaten, cut and ultimately shot to death.
