Jordan Kenneth Brandt, 6 weeks, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1998, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Keri A. Brandt, his father, Kenneth Parsons, and his grandparents, Mary Parsons and Martin and Cheryl Slanc, all of Las Vegas; and his great-grandparents, Shirley Brandt of Milwaukee and Kenneth Harris of Las Vegas.

Horace Francis Chapman III

Horace Francis Chapman III, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Athens, Ga. A resident for eight years, he was an audio-visual technician at the Flamingo Hilton, a Vietnam-era Army veteran and a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 720.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Patrick Chapman of Savannah, Ga., and David Chapman of Las Vegas; one daughter, Lizbeth Chapman of Savannah; his parents, Horace and Frances Chapman Jr., and two sisters, Annamarie Segall and MaryLinn Sankey, all of Jacksonville, Fla.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite hospice.

Miriam Campbell Clark

Miriam Campbell Clark, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 9, 1927, in California. A resident for 60 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Tony Clark of Las Vegas; two daughters, Teresa Clark of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Tina Rose of Maui, Hawaii; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at noon today in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Joseph 'Joe D' Delulio

Joseph "Joe D" Delulio, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Torrington, Conn. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired laborer and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Florence Fugiel of North Las Vegas and Catherine Carone of Chicago; three sons, Jeffrey Delulio and Gregory Delulio, both of Las Vegas, and Joseph Delulio of Schaumburg, Ill.; two brothers, Henry Delulio of Crete, Ill., and Leo Delulio of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8-10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will follow Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Irene H. Dvorak

Irene H. Dvorak, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 23, 1917, in London. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker, a lifetime member of Hadassah, a member of B'nai B'rith and the sisterhood of Temple Beth Sholom.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel; one daughter, Jacqueline Dvorak, and one son, Brian Dvorak, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Pearl Sass of Los Angeles; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Gertrude Watley Gardner

Gertrude Watley Gardner, 86, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1912, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. A resident for two years, she was a retired cosmetic buyer.

She is survived by her husband, Al; two daughters, Daryl Mancinelli of Roseville, Calif., and Carol Matz of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mildred Gill

Mildred Gill, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Waycross, Ga. A resident for four years, she was a retired beautician.

She is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Sawyer and Dora M. Taylor, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Zion United Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Stanley J. Kret

Stanley J. Kret, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 6, 1915, in Fall River, Mass. A resident for four years, he was a retired railroad postal clerk, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Fall River Lodge of Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; one daughter, Cynthia Allen of Las Vegas; two sisters, Eleanor Moson and Amelia Kret, and one brother, Raymond Kret, all of Fall River; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Lawrence N. McIver II

Lawrence N. McIver II, 32, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Clark County. A resident for 21 years, he was born Dec. 22, 1966, in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Carter-McIver; seven children, Lawrence McIver III, Jovan McIver, Maurice McIver, Savigon McIver, Iman McIver, Jasmin Carter McIver and Shalon Carter McIver, his mother, Beverly Baker, and two brothers, Cookie McIver and Tyson L. McIver, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Louise McIver of Pittsburgh.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. A private burial followed. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Richard M. Oden

Richard M. Oden, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 12 years, he was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Texas.

He is survived by three sons, Richard Ray of Fresno, Calif., James of Las Vegas and Bob Combs of Salem, Ore.; two daughters, Sue Miller of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Jeanine Hefflin of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Mary C. Paquette

Mary C. Paquette, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Michigan. A resident for eight years, she was a member of the American Contract Bridge League.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Paquette of Henderson and Gary J. Paquette of Las Vegas; two daughters, Patricia Gyure of Crown Point, Ind., and Catherine Brandner of Schererville, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 7 p.m. service of remembrance Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Alice Prenesti

Alice Prenesti, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 13, 1903, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Ralph Prenesti of Las Vegas; two daughters, Judy Prenesti of Las Vegas and Vincenza Martin of Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lena R. Rinaldi

Lena R. Rinaldi, 90, died Jan. 12 in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1908.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

David Calvin Sears

David Calvin Sears, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 6, 1938, in San Francisco. A resident for 10 years, he was a casino floorman and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two sons, David Sears of Kingman, Ariz., and Hepburn Best of Atlantic City, N.J.; one daughter, Alexandra Morgan of Las Vegas; his mother, Hildur Sears of Oakland, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

John Paul Shiers

John Paul Shiers, 52, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Framingham, Mass. A resident for many years, he was a custodian, a Navy veteran, a member of the Las Vegas Gem Club and Moose Lodge 1534.

He is survived by his wife, Charline; one daughter, Terri Thompson of Las Vegas; one son, John C. Shiers of South Bend, Ind.; his mother, Florence Tobler, his father, John Shiers, and one sister, Barbara Gomez, all of Anchorage, Alaska; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harrison-Ross. A private burial will follow.

Joseph N. Speranza

Joseph N. Speranza, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1920, in New York. A resident for 50 years, he was a pit boss for 40 years and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lee.

William R. Walton Jr.

William R. Walton Jr., 36, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 2, 1962, in Carrizozo, N.M. A resident for 29 years, he was a manager at Waltons Salvage and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two sons, William Walton III and Joseph Glen Walton, his parents, Beatrice M. and William Walton Sr., one brother, Jerry Glen Walton, and one sister, Melodie Spearman, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

David Lewis Workman

David Lewis Workman, 45, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 12, 1953, in Los Angeles. A resident for three years, he was an actor and voice artist, a member of the Screen Actors Guild and had served an LDS Mission in Germany.

He is survived by one aunt, Hardean Steinmetz of St. Louis.
