Letter: Ruling gives victims of child abuse hope

While nothing can take the place of their baby, I hope that the relatives of Kierra Harrison can find some comfort in Judge Mark Gibbons' decision to sentence the monster known as Alicia Wegner to life in prison. All parents, indeed all compassionate human beings, should be encouraged by this sign that child abuse will not be tolerated by Judge Gibbons.
