Brief: Crescent back on Las Vegas scene

Crescent said it will open a Canyon Ranch spa at the Venetian hotel-casino. Through a newly formed subsidiary, Crescent will invest $9 million on the Venetian Canyon Ranch spa.
The Venetian spa will be Crescent's third Canyon Ranch. The company's other spas are in Lennox, Mass., and Tucson, Ariz.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based company dropped a planned acquisition of Station Casinos last year.
