Gordon slated for appearance at SportPark

Three-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon will make a special appearance at the All-American SportPark Monday night as part of a live broadcast by the QVC cable shopping network.

Gordon, who won last week's Daytona 500, will appear at the All-American SportPark for QVC's live broadcast of its "For Race Fans Only" show from 6-9 p.m. Seats are available one hour before broadcast on a first-come, first-serve basis.

QVC hosts Dan Hughes and Paul Kelley will anchor the show, which features racing-related collectibles and merchandise. The All-American SportPark is located on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road, at 121 E. Sunset Rd.

Gordon will be in Las Vegas next week to test his Pepsi-sponsored NASCAR Busch Series car Tuesday and Wednesday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The test session, which also will feature several Winston Cup and Busch Series drivers, is open to the public.

Gordon will drive the Busch car in the Sam's Town 300 at LVMS on March 6 and his DuPont Automotive Refinishes Chevy in the Las Vegas 400 Winston Cup race the next day.

Gates at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days for the test.
