Thunder takes on Ice

The Las Vegas Thunder, which had its seven-game home winning streak snapped by Chicago on Tuesday night, will try to start another one tonight when it hosts the Indianapolis Ice at the Thomas & Mack Center.

It will be the only Las Vegas appearance of the year for the Ice. The two teams met one other time this season on Feb. 6 in Indianapolis with the Thunder scoring a 5-4 shootout win thanks to a goal by Sean Berens.

It will be a busy 48 hours this weekend for Las Vegas.

After tonight's game, the Thunder flies to Houston to face the IHL Southwest Division-leading Aeros on Saturday night. Then Las Vegas flies back Sunday morning and hosts the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 6:05 on Sunday night at the Thomas & Mack.
