Brief: Slot route operator sues insurer

The suit said Magno worked in Nevada Coin's change room, handling and verifying change as it came in. Nevada Coin alleges Magno embezzled about $30,000, according to attorney Robert Knott Jr.
The alleged theft was discovered in September, 1996. Last year, Nevada Coin sold its slot route business to Alliance Gaming.
Magno was convicted on criminal charges related to the embezzlement, states the suit. But Cigna, which covered Nevada Coin for losses from employee theft, denied a claim filed by the company.
Nevada Coin wants the $30,000, and unspecified costs and fees.
Neither Cigna or Magno could be reached for comment.
