Councilman apologizes for enthusiastic firefighters

Adamsen said he had been told the firefighters would drive by, but didn't realize they would pull into the parking lot of the campaign office, sirens blaring.

City and state law prohibits government employees from engaging in political activities on government time. The firefighters were on duty at the time, and Fire Chief Mario Trevino said they will be disciplined.
