Gaming firm changing stock symbol

The new symbol reflects management's intention to diversify the company's operations, American Vantage said.

American Vantage Companies owns the worldwide rights to develop and operate WCW Nitro Grill restaurants. The first WCW Nitro Grill is being constructed in the Excalibur hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The wrestling-themed restaurant is scheduled to open this spring.

The company is also involved in the development of the Border Grill restaurant in the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino. It will serve Mexican and Latin American style food.

American Vantage Companies is primarily a consultant to the gaming industry.
