Letter: Dole must be desperate for cash

With his wife Elizabeth Dole resigned from her post as the head of the Red Cross I understand he may need the money to substitute his senator's pension.

I admire Dole's courage but I wish he would get the lead out (of his pencil) and do something more constructive other than catering to a small segment of the senior citizen population.
