Brief: Gaming auctions planned

The closed Holiday Hotel-Casino, on the banks of the Truckee River, will be auctioned for a minimum bid of $2.5 million, said Steve Stremmel of Stremmel Auctions in Reno.
The high bidder will get the land, building and all contents -- minus the gaming equipment already sold, he said.
Later in the month, the contents of the Riverboat Hotel & Casino will be auctioned. That includes slot machines, crap tables, surveillance cameras, dishes, beds, towels and televisions.
