Deputies investigate possible sniper shooting along I-80

The Washoe County Sheriff's office received reports of shots fired about 9:30 a.m. near West Fourth Street in western Reno.
Sheriff's Sgt. Bob Towery said the shootings were being investigated as "a sniper situation."
The interstate temporarily was closed going in both directions for about a 5-mile stretch from Reno's West Fourth Street exit west to the Boomtown Hotel and Casino east of Verdi.
