Letter: Bombing of Iraq prompts decision

There is a question: Has there ever been any container discovered of mass destruction? Or has the supposition been implemented as a means of defense for the protection of oil-producing countries.

If, and there undoubtedly are, systems of mass destruction held in storage by other world powers, would we be so quick in bombing them? Of course not. This is nothing more than a commodities confutation.

Further, there was some fanfare as to not bombing Iraq going into the time of Ramadan. This proclamation will not hold water; there are several hundred million Muslims in the world -- all of which will begin to sharpen their knives.

We now have a very serious problem. Are we prepared to send our ground forces into every country in order to protect our embassies? Give this some thought!
