Letter: Don't waste money on Senate trial

I want my tax dollars to help our economy, not to finance a lengthy trial that most Americans do not approve of. Our Congress is giving in to a handful of zealots who should not be in office.

Give the president a slap on the wrist and let him get on with leading the nation.
