Letter: Legislators need not fear 2000 reprisals

The Senate is a whole different ballgame. Some senators represent millions of constituents, so are of necessity further removed. I believe the only ones that may be hurt are the ones that do not first hear all the evidence and then vote on that evidence, regardless of how they vote, and regardless of whether they are Democrats or Republicans.
The 1998 election had nothing to do with impeachment. The Republicans won so many seats in 1994 that they are getting into "safe" Democratic districts.
