Regan Bernard, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Massachusetts. A resident for six months, she was an office manager for a manufacturing company.

She is survived by her husband, Roland A.

Samuel Louis Cravotta

Samuel Louis Cravotta, 53, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 12, 1945, in New York. A resident for three years, he was a chef at the Roadrunner.

He is survived by his wife, Marilee; one son, Samuel Patrick Cravotta; one daughter, Michelle Lee Cravotta; his father, Salvatore Cravotta; two brothers, Robert Cravotta and Louis Cravotta; two sisters, Diane Nuccitelli and Mary Ellen Cravotta.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Ernest C. Cross Sr.

Ernest C. Cross Sr., 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 26, 1924, in Tennessee. A resident for six months, he was a government electrician and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Letha Bishop Cross; and one son, Ernest C. Cross Jr. of Illinois.

Services and burial will be in Tennessee. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arranements.

Dermith J. Fish

Dermith J. Fish, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 18, 1915, in Michigan. A resident for two years, he was a retired carpenter and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Sherrie Patton and Joette West, both of Las Vegas, Colette Fish of Mililani, Hawaii, and Linda Marquez of Washington state; one son, Chuck Cornelius of Washington state; and eight grandchildren.

Lydia Fountain

Lydia Fountain, 42, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident of Clark County, she was a food handler.

She is survived by two daughters, Cherise Davis and Celise Davis-Walker, both of North Las Vegas; four brothers, Webster Davis, Harold Davis, Felix Osborne and J.D. Davis, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Margaret Jackson and Carolyn Davis, both of Las Vegas, and Estelle Ellington of California; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will be private.

Manuelita Griego

Manuelita Griego, 85, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born May 10, 1913, in Santa Fe, N.M. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one brother, Joe Gallegos of Santa Fe.

Edward E. Griffin

Edward E. Griffin, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1935, in Edwards, Miss. A resident for 18 years, he was a bus driver and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lucinda; four sons, David Griffin of Detroit and Marcus Jackson, Maurice Griffin and Nathaniel Griffin, all of Las Vegas; five daughters, Valeria Smith, Rena Griffin, Lisa Griffin and Carla Griffin, all of Detroit, and Vickie Jackson of Las Vegas; his father, Elder Edward L. Griffin of Shelby, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Norman Lynn Henderson, 68, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. He was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Fruitdale, S.D. A resident for four months, he was in the transportation business.

He is survived by his wife, Mary E.; one daughter, Deborah Smith of Des Moines, Wash.; three sons, Scott Henderson and Gregory Henderson, both of Kent, Wash., and Shawn P. Henderson of Olympia, Wash.; three sisters, Alta Bruggeman of Belle Fourche, S.D., Elma Coop of Redding, Calif., and Anna Nelson of Olympia; two brothers, Leslie Henderson of Southworth, Wash., and Darrell Henderson of Redding; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Joel Q. Henning, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born June 17, 1910, in Charleston, Miss. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired welder and a member of Zelzah Shrine Temple and Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, James H. Henning of North Las Vegas and Joel Henning of Overgaard, Ariz.; one sister, Willie Mae Holcomb of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Evelyn M. Hoffman, 80, of Las Vegas died Dec. 31 in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Orange, Minn. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Marlene Shultz of Paramus, N.J.; one son, Dale Hoffman of Uvalda, Ga.; one brother, Frank Wartner of Denver; and two grandchildren.

Louis 'Sam' Hirschy

Louis "Sam" Hirschy, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Minnesota. A resident for eight years, he was a grocery store manager, a World War II Army veteran and was a member of Gold Prospectors Association of America.

He is survived by one son, Charles Hirschy of Las Vegas; one daughter, Rebecca Taylor of Connecticut; and five grandchildren.

Robert W. Howell

Robert W. Howell, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Waterloo, Iowa. A resident for nine years, he was a retired aircraft company project manager, a member of the Sun City Niners Golf Club and the Sunshine Club and treasurer of the Linkview Homeowners Association.

He is survived by his wife, Mary M.; three daughters, Joan Maurer of Newbury Park, Calif., Ann Wood of Oroville, Calif., and Catherine Kirk of Boulder City; two sons, William Howell of Fayetteville, Ark., and James Howell of Concord, Calif.; his mother, Genevieve Howell-Saunders of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

Grace I. Iardella, 79, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Lawreen Lorenz of Poplar Grove, Ill., Grace Edwards of Henderson and Patricia Argeanas of Albuquerque, N.M.; four sons, Lawrence Iardella of Port Townsend, Wash., John Iardella and Raymond Iardella, both of Hanover Park, Ill., and James Iardella of Henderson; one sister, Virginia Killian of Lombard, Ill.; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Alicia M. Kim, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 19 years, she was born Oct. 27, 1934, in Masbate, Philippines.

She is survived by her husband, Chang U.; one son, Alfonso M. Cerona of Las Vegas; two brothers, Ernesto C. Marcos of California and Jose C. Marcos Jr. of the Philippines; four sisters, Maria Alvero, Josefina Ferreros, Ramona Sta-Cruz and Pacita Cabal, all of California; and one grandchild.

Eddie Dan Mims

Eddie Dan Mims, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Natchez, Ala. A resident for six years, he retired from TWA as a ramp serviceman, was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his companion, Barbara Smith, and one son, David Smith, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Patricia Smith of Las Vegas and Portia Haynes of New Jersey; two brothers, James C. Mims of California and Judge Mims of Florida; two sisters, Sarah Banks of California and Katie Mae Stallworth of Alabama; and one grandchild.

Joan Lillian Long Ouimet

Joan Lillian Long Ouimet, 64, of Sparks died Saturday. She was born Jan. 24, 1934, in St. Louis. A former Las Vegas resident, she was an antique dealer, real estate broker, 1951 Las Vegas High School graduate and a longtime member of La Sertoma service organization where she held several offices including regional director, district governor, president and club president.

She is survived by one son, Vincent Ouimet; five daughters, Katherine Jimison, Anne Marie Hoff, Laura Jenkins, Sharon Ouimet Johnson and Carol Weidenthaler Simpson; two sisters, Frances Kendall and Alice Frerking; numerous nieces and nephews; and six grandchildren.

James Joseph Plumeri

James Joseph Plumeri, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1960, in Trenton, N.J. A resident for 16 years, he was a laborer and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two sons, Joseph Plumeri and Jacob Plumeri, and his mother, Doris Plumeri, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Thomas Plumeri of Sandy Valley, Philip Plumeri of Trenton, Anthony Plumeri of New Egypt, N.J., and Mark Plumeri of Las Vegas; and one sister, Susan Yenchik of Yardley, Pa.

She is survived by one daughter, Terry Weisner of Westminster, Calif.; one son, Dirk Miller of Reno; one brother, John Busico of Oregon; one sister, Cathy Busico of California; and two grandchildren.

Marie J. Wilkins, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 24, 1905, in Chicago. A resident for 50 years, she was an entertainer.

She is survived by four sons, George Mitchell of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Jim Martin of California, Joe Martin of Las Vegas and Tom Edwards of Reno; and two daughters, Joann Pochinsky of Santee, Calif., and Mary Jane Bone of Chicago.
