James Francis Barnes, 64, of Las Vegas died Dec. 16 in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was born June 30, 1934, in Illinois. A resident for many years, he was a firefighter and a veteran.

He is survived by one son, Stanley Potoczek of Chicago.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Miriam Leona Boone

Miriam Leona Boone, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 9, 1911, in Winber, Pa. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 26.

She is survived one son, Nathan Boone of Las Vegas; two daughters, Barbara Clark of Las Vegas and Janice Laudermilch of Harrisburg, Pa.; two brothers, Glenn Criswell and Gerald Criswell, and two sisters, Lois and Edie, all of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Edythe L. Cady

Edythe L. Cady, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born in New York. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired clothing buyer.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; one son, Bruce Cady of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Kim Cady of Atlanta.

Oren Ray Cordrey Sr.

Oren Ray Cordrey Sr., 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1920, in West Terre Haute, Ind. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired custodian for the Clark County School District, a World War II Army veteran, a member and past director of the Salvation Army Hospitality House and was in the Civilian Conservation Corps.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sheri Plager-Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; four sons, Oren R. Cordrey Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M., Ray Sterling Cordrey and Lloyd Dixon, both of Las Vegas, and Kenneth W. Cordrey of San Diego; three daughters, Mary V. Dixon of Pahrump and M. Sharon Plager and Dorie Dixon, both of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens.

Bartley DeBone

Bartley DeBone, 76, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Norwalk, Conn. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired owner-installer for 17 years of a pump and tank business and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Avello and Roseann Gutierrez, and two sons, Thomas DeBone and Steven DeBone, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, John DeBone and Tony DeBone, both of Norwalk; four sisters, Florence Olivia, Lena Sardaro and Helen Salamone, all of Norwalk, and Josephine Casella of Trumbull, Conn.; and one grandchild.

Denise Dorsey

Denise Dorsey, 47, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 2, 1952, in Washington, D.C. A resident for several years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Rachel Clifton and Nicole Clifton, both of Las Vegas, and Kimberly Lubischer of Ocean, N.J.; her father, Robert Dorsey of New Market, Md.; three sisters, Renee Willis, Robin Dorsey and Crystal Wagner, and one brother, Albert Wagner, all of Washington, D.C.; one aunt, Marguerite Dorsey of Las Vegas; several nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-4:30 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Cremation will be at Memory Gardens.

Marvin Arthur Dreith

Marvin Arthur Dreith, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1928, in Berthoud, Colo. A resident for eight months, he was a real estate broker, a veteran of the Merchant Marines and a member of the San Francisco Board of Realtors.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi; two sons, Steve Dreith and Michael Dreith, and two daughters, Joan Antis and Dana Kelley, all of California; three sisters, Betty Coleman of Colorado, Shirley Eng of Nebraska and Lee Hays of California; and five grandchildren.

Jimmie E. House

Jimmie E. House, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 6, 1909, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary E. Jimerson of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sandra Lee Jucha

Sandra Lee Jucha, 50, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1948, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired housekeeper for a private residence.

She is survived by five brothers, Ronald Jucha of Las Vegas, Dennis Jucha of Lake Villa, Ill., Donald Jucha of Naperville, Ill., Robert Jucha of Des Plaines, Ill., and Joe Jucha of Chicago.

Ronald J. Kalk, 64, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 14, 1934, in Muskegon, Mich. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a property manager and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Judy A.; three sons, Grant Madden of Las Cruces, N.M., and G. Eddie Madden and Johnny Madden, both of Greeley, Colo.; one daughter, Kerry Wyatt of Page, Ariz.; one sister, Carol Boone of Manchester, Mich.; one brother, Alan Kalk of Denver; and six grandchildren.

Milton Webster Keefer, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 7, 1914, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 58 years, he was an attorney with Keefer, O'Reily, Ferrario and Lubber, past president of the Hualapai Club, Lions Club, the Rotary and Variety, past potentate, past recorder, trustee and 33rd degree Shriner, former FBI agent and the first chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission.

He is survived by his wife, Jacklyn; two daughters, Sherry Langnor of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Linda Scharf of Henderson; one son, Robert Walkenshaw of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Sunday in Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Cecille M. Quaresma

Cecille M. Quaresma, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 6, 1917, in California. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia F. Flaming and Sharon Tharp, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Frank W. Gomes of Salinas, Calif., and Elmer W. Gomes of Roseburg, Ore.; numerous nieces and nephews; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edward J. Reilly

Edward J. Reilly, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for eight years, he was a retired studio lighting technician in the motion picture industry, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Daryl "Dolly"; three sons, Alan Edward Reilly of Tampa, Fla., Raymond Patrick Reilly of Las Vegas and Timothy James Reilly of Torrance, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9:15 a.m. Feb. 8 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lillis V. Smith

Lillis V. Smith, 79, of Las Vegas died Dec. 30 in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Lake Lillian, Minn. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Beta Sigma Phi for eight years.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharron Mashburn of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Litsa Roberts of Charlottesville, Va.; one stepson, Mike Smith of California; one sister, Lorette Gute of Salt Lake City; and one grandson.

Arline Tousey, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Feb. 2, 1934, in New York City. A resident for two years, she was a payroll accountant in the aerospace industry.

She is survived by one son, Michael; one sister, Joyce Calev; and one grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Marc Anthony Villane

Marc Anthony Villane, 29, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1969, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for two years, he was an alarm installer at Centurion for a year and a half, an Air Force veteran and was his high school valedictorian.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia M. Villane of Chester, N.Y.; five sisters, GraceAnne Manning, Margaret Reilly, Donna Hervey, Teresa Ahern and Caroline Zecolla, all of New York; two brothers, Donald Villane of New York and Anthony Vitrano of Florida; his aunt and uncle, Barbara and Mike Selimensky, and one cousin, Michael Selimensky, all of New York.

Robert L. Willis Jr., 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was a retired x-ray technologist, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Joann; one daughter, Laura DeJohnette of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert Bruce Willis of Sunrise, Fla., Richard Willis of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Maurice Willis of Chicago; and five grandchildren.

James Wolfe, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Morgantown, W.Va. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired administrative assistant for an engineering company, a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Fawn; one sister, Willa Jane Bowman of Oroville, Calif.; and one brother, Dr. Charles H. Wolfe of Lancaster, Pa.
