Three school zoning meetings set

Three public meetings will be held next week for parents who want to speak up about elementary school zoning changes that affect their neighborhoods.

A meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenspun Junior High School, 140 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson, to discuss a zoning change that could affect these schools: Beatty, Cartwright, Gibson, Hinman, Kesterson, Lamping, Newton, McCaw, Treem/Thorpe, and Wiener/Hill.

A meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cimarron-Memorial High School, 2301 Tenaya Way, to discuss changes that could affect: Allen, Booker, Culley, Decker, Deskin, Detwiler, Fyfe, Garehime, Hoggard, Lummis, Kahre/Eisenberg, Kelly, May, McWilliams, Neal, Rhodes andWolfe/Guy.

A meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Las Vegas High School, 6500 E. Sahara Ave., to discuss changes that could affect: Adams, Craig, Cunningham, Dearing, Goldfarb, Herr, King, Mountain View, Stanford, and Woolley.
