Thursday's card

1ST RACE:

Joy to Me and You - Weakened at Oak Tree in last, got lead and game 2nd first time at a mile before that, drops back in for a tag for return, gets Nakatani and rail post now.

Annuzzi - Late rally 3rd on good track at Golden Gate early- December in last, pressed early and faded from the rail when 4th at Del Mar before that, ships back south, stretches out and drops to claimer now, Solis takes over.

Value Play -- Siyeh Bend

2ND RACE:

Sweet Mazarine - Broke in the air and rallied for 2nd in Grade III stakes down the hill in last, won by a nose in turf sprint at Hollypark before that, speed and 3rd down the hill at Oak Tree three races back, tough at this trip.

Bountiful Dreamer - Runner-up in Hollypark grass sprint in last, won Cal- Cup Distaff down the hill at Oak Tree before that, in the quinella in all 6 starts last year, reunites with Stevens.

Value Play -- Desert Lady

3RD RACE:

Chief's Treasure - Broke slow, stalked and weakened sprinting on Holly- park lawn in debut in last, steady works since with most recent 6-panel bullet drill on the 9th, switches to main and drops to claimer now, Desormeaux/ Drysdale team.

Roget's Run - Returns to races with steady works, pressed pace and runner-up at Golden Gate early-May in last, pressed and 3rd before that, runner up in only start ridden by Gomez who returns here, a factor for diploma.

Value Play -- To the West

4TH RACE:

Lord Rochelle - Wide rally for close 2nd at shorter trip in last, won at this distance and track three races back, Blanc stays, consistant as of late, will be coming at the end.

Zamboni Swing - Set pace from the rail and caught on the wire while close 3rd early-November at Oak Tree in last, all three career victories at this distance, steady solid works for return, Ramsammy also returns.

Value Play -- Dobob

5TH RACE:

Tee for Three - Dueled lead and gave way from outside post at a mile when in need of a race in last, outrun in prior pair of lifetime outings, drops to claimer and back sprinting now, Espinoza stays for easiest chance at diploma yet.

Eekster - Saved ground and 4th in last, wide trip 4th before that, pair of nice Anita works since raced, Gomez takes over on twice beaten favorite.

Value Play -- Western Kaper

6TH RACE:

El Cielo - Dueled lead from the rail and distant 4th in last, easy winner at this level down the hill from the rail at Oak Tree before that, won 2 of 3 prior lifetime starts, back at best conditions for repeat.

Pinfloron - Tries downhill run for the first time after trailing at a mile on Hollypark lawn in return to races in last, in the quinella 10 of 26 lifetime turf starts with a half-dozen victories, has back class, may like the new challenge here.

Value Play -- Take a Left

7TH RACE:

Sweet Lullaby - Dueled lead and weakened at a mile on Anita lawn in last, set pace and runner up routing on the green before that, broke mai- den at this distance at Churchill Downs three races back, Stevens/Baffert team.

Tout Chamant - 3-wide rally to break maiden sprinting at Hollypark mid- November in last, runner up in prior pair of lifetime starts, steady works since raced, Flores scales other Baffert trainee.

Value Play -- Fee Fi Foe

8TH RACE:

Carrie's Candy - Awkward start then late bid for close 2nd at this dist- ance at Hollypark in last, 4th in prior pair of career outings, pair of nice works since raced, Eddie D. stays for nitecap cap and gown run.

Jag G - Makes return to races off steady worktab, outrun in pair of Fair- grounds outings last year, trainer Frankel drops this one to claimer and gets Desormeaux to ride, outside post is a concern.

Value Play -- Clearly a Devil
