Letter: Reader unsure of Dobson's portrayal

I am wondering whether Dobson was portrayed fairly in your newspaper. I have never read anything by him that I felt fell into the category of a diatribe. I would like to pose another possibility. Could Dobson have been speaking the truth in love, as mentioned in the Bible in Ephesians 4:15?

Does German know when it is untimely to speak the truth? Day in and day out as I read the newspapers and listen to the television I am appalled at the greed that appears to control what our nation is willing to tolerate in the name of prosperity.

Before you wonder if I am guilt-free in the greed matter, the answer is no, but I recognize it as a problem and strive to correct it.

I would like to hear which of the things mentioned by Dobson are untrue.

There must be days that Dobson would like to live an easier life (especially since his stroke) but I am reasonably sure that he tried to do his job on the commission. I praise God that our country still has some that will do that.

Praying for myself first and then for our country.
