Letter: Tax on motorists is no privilege

Most other states don't have this tax. It doesn't go for highways and roads. They are in desperate shape. When are we going to get a good and honest politician to change this?

It's about time to take care of the poor people and not the casinos. Tax the casinos more. Have a small rate for registration and raise the driver's license to $10 a year.

Believe me, this isn't a privilege to drive in Nevada. What would happen if all of us stick together and not pay the privilege tax?
