Letter: Nolen's new job begs reader's query

Now poor Bob has to put in 70 hours a week, as opposed to 10 or fewer as a constable. What is curious about this "new career" is that he made statements to the press that the only reason he was not seeking re-election as constable was not due to the negative exposure of the Ethics Commission hearings and its findings but rather his desire to "spend more time with his seriously ill wife."

The real truth is that he wanted to avoid the humiliation of losing any attempt to be re-elected. I'm somewhat surprised that we haven't been told that he is really trying out a career as a sheepherder. After all, where is he getting all of the wool he's been pulling over everyone's eyes?
