Letter: Praising Raggios for public service

As the governor who first appointed Dottie to the dental board and someone who has worked in Carson City with Bill Raggio, O'Callaghan's comments on their public service are right on point. I share his praise for their public service and feel the Raggios should be recognized for their dedicated public service to the entire state.

The Raggios are products of Nevada's public schools and shared a commitment to providing an excellent education for Nevada's students. Little known to most people is that Dottie took great joy in helping Nevada's aspiring dental students.

It is my hope that this unnecessary opposition doesn't put a hold on any future recognition of Bill and Dottie.
