Police search nabs Elko man sought in Reno shooting

Elko County Sheriff Neil Harris said Andy Lee Taylor, 38, was spotted by a deputy near Spring Creek, southeast of Elko late Tuesday.
A brief chase onto a dirt road ended with the stolen government Jeep Taylor was driving getting mired down. Taylor then fled into the hills.
Dozens of officers with both dogs and heat-seeking equipment finally tracked him down about 2:30 a.m.
He was being sought in Friday's shooting death of Halton Tyrone White, 32, in front of the Sundowner Hotel-Casino west of downtown Reno.
It's believed the shooting involved a drug deal that went bad.
